About Oui Costume Studio

Oui Costume Studio is a family-run studio in Southern California making custom dancewear and performance costumes by hand. It started with a mother sewing dancewear for her daughter's classes and grew into one-of-a-kind costumes for jazz, contemporary, lyrical and competition dancers, shipped nationwide.

Hungry Ram designed and built the studio's website, with a waitlist and custom order requests that flow straight into HungryHub.

The challenge

What Oui Costume Studio needed

As Oui's social following grew, so did the number of people asking about custom pieces. Requests were scattered across comments and direct messages, and with the studio fully booked there was no clear place to send people who wanted to be next in line.

Oui needed a home for the work that could turn that attention into organized requests without promising slots the studio couldn't take.

Our approach

How we built the Oui Costume Studio website

We built a portfolio site around Oui's photoshoot and costume galleries, the studio's story and its design process, so visitors can see the craftsmanship before they reach out.

A waitlist form collects the details of each project: the occasion, the dancer and the hoped-for date. A separate contact form handles general questions. Both send every request into HungryHub, where Oui can see who is waiting, follow up, and move people forward when bookings open. A sitewide notice explains the current booking status so expectations are clear from the first visit.
